Your dedicated coach driver will transport you from Manchester to the small town of Bakewell, where your first stop will be Chatsworth House, which is home to the Devonshire family, and has been passed down through 16 generations.

Explore over 25 rooms in the stately home including the Painted Hall, State Rooms, Sculpture Gallery and discover its art, history and family. Plus, learn how succeeding generations have made their mark on one of Derbyshire’s finest country houses. Chatsworth also has wonderful gardens to explore. The 105-acre garden is the product of nearly 500 years of careful cultivation and includes an arboretum, rock garden, fountains, sculptures and more.

The estate has a selection of cafes and shops where you can eat, drink and shop at your leisure.

This day trip is self guided and the cost includes transport to Chatsworth from Manchester with a return and your entry ticket into House and Gardens. Please note no food or refreshments are included in your ticket price.

Chatsworth House and Gardens is located near Bakewell which is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from Manchester by coach.

The coach from Manchester Central will depart at 9.30am arriving at The Chatsworth Estate at approximately 10.45am-11.15am. The coach will depart Chatsworth at 3.45pm arriving back in Manchester for approximately 5.00pm-5.30pm.
